Empowering clients through 23 years of diverse therapy

I believe that a therapist who has a diverse range of work experience can help clients on a deeper level. With over 23 years of experience in providing psychotherapy for individuals from all walks of life, I’ve been privileged to wear many hats. From directing clinics to teaching at the graduate level, my multifaceted journey has enriched my understanding and approach in the therapeutic space.

Emotional & Mental Health

Emotions and mental well-being form the foundation of our daily experiences, dictating our reactions, behaviors, and overall satisfaction with life. Addressing these fundamental aspects is paramount, and as a therapist, my aim is to help individuals explore, understand, and nurture their emotional landscapes. Whether it’s navigating the intricate nuances of mood disorders or confronting intense fears, together we’ll work towards achieving mental harmony and resilience.

These mood disorders, while common, deeply impact an individual's quality of life. Depression often manifests as a prolonged feeling of sadness or lack of interest, while anxiety is characterized by excessive worry. My approach focuses on equipping individuals with strategies to confront these challenges, promoting a balance between acceptance and change.

Developmental & Neurological Issues

Navigating the unique challenges posed by developmental and neurological conditions requires specialized therapeutic frameworks. As a committed psychotherapist, I blend evidence-based strategies with a compassionate, client-centered approach. The aim? To create an inclusive and supportive space that fosters not just symptom management but holistic well-being. Whether it’s maneuvering the complexities of neurodevelopmental disorders or the after-effects of traumatic brain injuries, the journey will be one of understanding, growth, and resilience.

ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is characterized by a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning or development. ADHD coaching is a specialized type of therapy that helps individuals manage these symptoms and thrive. Unlike traditional therapy, ADHD Coaching focuses specifically on tackling the challenges brought by ADHD, such as time management, organization, goal setting, and job performance. I employ a strengths-based approach in ADHD Coaching, where each person develops strategies that harness their strengths, compensate for challenges, and foster success in both personal and professional life.

Relationship & Identity Issues

Navigating the complexities of relationships and identity is pivotal to our mental health and overall well-being. These intricacies often carry significant emotional weight and can influence how we see ourselves and interact with the world. Whether it’s navigating friendships, romantic relationships, family dynamics, or questions about identity, my approach aims to guide individuals toward a better understanding of themselves and their relationships.

The bonds we form with friends, family, and romantic partners are critical to our emotional health. My counseling services aim to resolve conflicts, improve communication, and help you develop fulfilling relationships.
